ITV Women’s World Cup coverage lineup announced

ITV have announced a plethora of big names that will be on their team to cover the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer. Leading the coverage will be main presenter, Laura Woods, as well as Seema Jaswal and Michelle Owen.  

Expert insight, opinion and analysis will be offered from a squad of Eni Aluko, Karen Carney, Jill Scott, Emma Hayes, Fran Kirby, Lucy Ward, Siobhan Chamberlain, Emma Byrne, Vicky Losada and Jen Beattie. Katie Shanahan will be reporting on the tournament whilst commentary will come from Sam Matterface, Pien Meulensteen, Tom Gayle and Seb Hutchinson.  

ITV will show half of the tournaments matches across ITV1 and ITV4 with catch up and highlights on ITVX. Highlights from every game is said to be available if the action was missed overnight. Social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok) for @ITVFootball will be providing near-live clips from every game shown on the channel, as well as key moments from their studio pundits. 

ITV will be showing two of England’s group stage games (the first group game against Hati and the final group game against China). On the first day of the tournament, they will also cover two of the Republic of Ireland’s games against Canada and co-hosts Australia. During the group stages, ITV’s coverage will also include Portugal vs USA and Germany’s matches against Columbia and Morocco. The games of the nations that are high on FIFA’s ranking, will also be shown, such as France vs Jamaica, Brazil vs Panama and Vietnam vs Netherlands.

As well as having first and second choice of the quarter final round, ITV will also air the third place play off and the final.
